Solar, batteries and hot water — installed by our own experienced electricians & plumbers
Solar and batteries, heat pump hot water, air conditioning and whole home water filtration. Designed and installed by Trigger Group's own licensed electricians and plumbers — never subcontracted, never sold on to a crew you've never met.
Four ways we cut your energy bill
Every one of these needs a licensed electrician, a licensed plumber, or both. Ours are in the vans out front, not on a subcontractor's schedule — which is why we can price the whole job instead of half of it.
Solar & battery
20.48kWh battery, 6.65kW of Trina panels and a hybrid inverter, after the federal battery rebate and STCs.

Heat pump hot water
Viva, NeoPower and Emerald Energy, 210L to 320L. VEU and STC rebates deducted before you pay.

Air conditioning
Reverse cycle from 2.5kW to 20kW ducted. Get off gas heating, keep the same comfort, cut the bill.

Whole home filtration
Every tap, shower and appliance in the house — sediment, chlorine, heavy metals and limescale.
See the Viva system →Both trades. One company. No subcontractors.
Almost every energy job in a Melbourne home crosses two trades — the plumbing and the electrical. Not every company selling energy products holds either licence, so it's worth asking who will actually be standing in your house on the day. We hold both licences and employ both trades.
Worth asking before you sign Check
- Who does the install — your own employees, or a subcontracted crew?
- Is the plumbing and the electrical done by the same company, on the same day?
- Is the person quoting me paid on commission?
- Is this price fixed, and has anyone looked at my switchboard yet?
- In year five, who do I ring about a warranty claim?

We handle the certificates, you keep the discount
Victoria has more energy rebates running at once than almost anywhere in the country, and every one has its own paperwork. VEECs and STCs are assigned to us and come straight off your invoice before you pay. The one exception is the Solar Victoria rebate — that has to be lodged in your name, so we prepare the paperwork and quote, and you submit it with your ID and income details.
Federal battery rebate
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes a substantial amount off a home battery at the point of sale. It steps down on a legislated schedule through to 2030, and since 1 May 2026 pays at a reduced rate on capacity above 14kWh — so the same system costs more every year you wait.
Solar Victoria
Up to $1,000 on a heat pump or solar hot water system replacing a unit at least three years old — up to $1,400 for eligible locally made products. Household taxable income under $150,000, property valued under $3 million, and the property hasn't had the same rebate before.
VEU & VEECs
The Victorian Energy Upgrades program generates Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates when you replace an old, energy-hungry system. Those certificates have real monetary value — we trade them and it comes straight off your price.
STCs
Small-scale Technology Certificates are generated by eligible solar and heat pump systems based on size and location. They're assigned to us and discounted off the purchase price up front.
Four steps, no pressure
